A talk on "thermochemical Conversion of Biomass to Fuels and Chemicals-Pyrolysis and Gasification" was given at the 2011 Restoring the West Conference held at Utah State University in Logan, Utah on October 19 2011.

The conference focused on how woody biomass harvest and utilization can facilitate land restoration efforts while supplying much-needed fuel for renewable energy.
